About Me
Hi, I'm Nicolas Faché!
I recently graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering focused on Control Systems. My academic journey focused on advanced technologies, system modeling, and adaptive control systems.
I am passionate about leveraging my skills to develop innovative solutions in engineering and technology. Currently, I am actively seeking new opportunities to contribute and grow as a professional.
In the past I have interned at Baraja for two consecutive summers as an R&D Engineering Intern, one summer focused on designing Howland Pump & Mach-Zehnder Modulator circuits with a focus on reducing signal noise.
This work was done through LTSpice as well as automation through Python scripts integrating LTSpice circuits into JMP software for statistical analysis of component combinations.
Another summer I worked on PCB design as well as STM Microprocessor integration for laser current drivers. Most recently I worked as a Robotics Engineering Intern at Mantis Robotics
during my internship I wrote python scripts using PyBullet to create an optimized robot path planner, the purpose of this project was to move on from a subscription software that was previously used for path planning. Along with writing and integrating the PyBullet path planner I created scenario testing for the physical robot to be tested
on for comparison against AUTOMAPPPS subscription.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors from hiking to swimming in the ocean. More recently I have been installing upgrades to my 2019 Mk7.5 GTI SE from turbo inlets and cold air intakes to ECU and TCU tunes, for more information.
I have also been weightlifting consistently since high school achieving a squat of 475 pounds, a bench of 335 pounds, and a deadlift of 505 pounds.
